Energy Boosting Smoothie

Energy Boosting Smoothie

I always post pics of my smoothies on Instagram and always get questions about whats in them and that I should start sharing it on the blog. So, I listened....so here goes...

Starting the morning right is important. Your Mum wasn't kidding when she told you that you needed to eat breakfast everyday. You know that saying Breakfast Is For Champions? It's Real! How about starting the day with an Energy Booting Smoothie?

I try my hardest to drink energy boosting smoothies as often as I can. Preferably everyday but sometimes I am in a rush and can't make it every morning - but I try.

Energy Boosting Smoothie Recipe:

(I don't measure anything except for Maca root powder)
  • 1 Orange (peeled and de-seeded)
  • 1 Banana
  • Kale
  • Carrot
  • Handful of Goji Berries
  • 1 Teaspoon maca root powder
Blend and Enjoy!
I like to pour in a mason Jar and run out the door if I am in a rush!

Benefits:
All of these ingredients have energy boosting properties like Vitamin C, A and Potassium. If you haven't tried Maca Root yet, then get familiar with it Girllllll!. Maca root is good for all but mostly beneficial for us chicas. It gives us energy, helps with menstrual pain and regulating or cycle and also increased fertility.

Words of Encouragement

Hey Loves! A few days ago I was very down on myself and needed some encouragement. My boyfriend sent me the following words to uplift my spirits and it did.  I feel like it will help some one too so please read below. Me: God can I ask you a question? God: Sure Me: Promise u won't get mad God: I promise Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today? God: What do u mean? Me: Well, I woke up late, God: Yes Me: My car took forever to start, God: Okay Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait, God:Huummmm... Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call..... God: All right Me: And to top it all off, when I got home ~I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massage & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that? God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that. Me

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs Hi Loves, I always get asked about how do I interlock my locs and the rotation I used - whether its 2-point or 4-point rotation. Some people also use the term 2-way or 4-way rotation. In the video below, I illustrate on my own locs, the difference between the two methods. you can then compare for yourself, if there is a difference between the two by looking at my locs. Do you interlock your locs? Share below which rotation do you use?
