Lupita Nyong'o Attacked by Dencia (Maker of Whitenicious Bleaching Cream)

Lupita Nyong’o, the gracious black beauty was an honoree at the Essence Women Luncheon a few days ago. In her speech, revealed her struggles being a black girl to womanhood and how images of the supermodel Alek Wek made her see beauty in herself as they both shared the same 'midnight' complexion. She then pulled out a letter a fan wrote to her thanking her for appearing on the scene just in time before she ordered Decia's Whitencious bleaching cream.
“Dear Lupita,” it reads, “I think you’re really lucky to be this Black but yet this successful in Hollywood overnight. I was just about to buy Dencia’s Whitenicious cream to lighten my skin when you appeared on the world map and saved me.”
Who or what is Decia's Whitencious Cream you might ask? Dencia is the Cameroonian-Nigerian singer 'was' of dark complexion but been using bleaching cream to lighten her skin to a 'very pale' complexion. Now I urge you to look up FOOL in the dictionary and her pale, insecure image will be very vivid.

Now, this fool decide to attack Lupita on twitter for releasing that letter and calling her the White Man's property.

These were her ignorant tweets:
“Every year the Oscars use 1 black scape goat 2 fool blacks 2 support them, this is ur year, next year another black person get over urselves,” one tweet read.
 And she kept going:
“& oh @Lupita_Nyongo cln’t talk abt the bleaching creams white people (Companies) make cuz the white man pays her, they own her!!,” she tweeted. “And oh while u claim she isn’t thinking of me, I’m on Her brain 4 her 2 mention me in a speech she shld have thanked u stupid fools.”

This is a person who needs help...I tell you. Women like these we need away from our black kids. I honestly believe she was quite beautiful before she turned herself into a white ghost (that she call beautiful).

Being the classy woman Lupita is, she did not respond to this delusional woman's attacks. Lupita is going to continue to flaunt her black beauty on every red carpet her toe touches.

Look was this girl did to herself: From a pretty dark complexion to a white ghost!

Dencia, I urge you to go take several seats with your foolishness. You need to learn a lesson or two about self love and acceptance. Take a page out of Lupita Nyong'o's book. Love Yourself!

  2. It left my hair feeling stripped and I have to say I will never use this product again on my natural hair.

  3. Question: So I cant use any type of mist to moisturize my twist-outs or it becomes all poofy and crazy looking. Do you think that the African Black Soap Conditioner would work as a 3rd day moisturizer?

  4. I think it's really sad that such beautiful girls and women (like Dencia and dark-skinned women of multiple races like her worldwide) are willing to risk cancer and many other potentially deadly side effects rather than be dark! I think it's depressing that our beautiful women and girls have been so indoctrinated in the "white-is-better" mentality that they would rather be dead than black! I wonder if they ever ask themselves where these feelings originate... They weren't born hating what they saw in the mirror. (All babies and young children love to see themselves) I wonder if they ever think about how they would feel if women like them, like us were all they saw, or even equally (and positively) represented in the media; If the image thrown in their faces every day of dark skin wasn't equated with drugs, poverty and prison; would they get angry with what they found? Would they want to fight back and flaunt their beautiful blackness like I do? I see beauty in all colors of skin from charcoal to chocolate to caramel to milk. I just wish they could see it themselves when they looked in the mirror. All skins are equally beautiful!

Hi Anne, yes you can. As a matter of fact that's what I am doing now. I repurchased the African soap conditioner but not the shampoo. So now I use it with with the moisture retention shampoo or curl and shine shampoo.

  9. Thanks for your response, im amazed how quick you have responded. I had locks for 9 1/2 years and just cut and combed it out instead of cutting it off completely. I don't want to process my hair but it seems i don't know how to take care of natural hair. It seems there's a whole regime out there that i have no clue about. A friend of mine told me about some staples that i should have like: cantu leave in conditioner, ecostyler olive oil gel and any oil (so i got the Mango & Lime Jamaican Black castor oil in coconut), she also told me anout a method which i now found on your site to be the LOC method). I really want my hair to grow and i'm happy i found your blog to help me

Hi Anne, I am happy you found my blog ans will help you whichever way that I can. You do need to create a hair care regimen. However what works for your friend might not work for you. So those staples might be unique to her hair. Your hair is unique to you and you need to experiment and find what works for you. For example, I only use ecostyler gel on the day before wash day so i get that stuff out. But some girls cannot live without their eco styler gel. 15. hey, i did my first braid out couple days ago and oh my it never came out good, seems i had plaited (braided) it too small so i cldnt pull it out without the aid of a comb and no curls was visible, just blah, i had to leave my house so i rocked it same way with confidence.. people were staring as if i am crazy but i didnt care. I dnt know what happended as i did the LOC method. I did the ecostyler the next day and it worked, finally saw curls but this time i had done a two strand curl so i dunno. it seems i have 4c hair, mostly, i have other textures too, i have several strands that look like process here, but they are sprinkled all over my head. Using the ecostyler my curls feels crunchy, im wondering if i can ever get some curls using something that would be as soft as you always refer to your hair. I now have the cantu leave in conditioner, ecostyler gel and the elasta QP olive oil and mango butter curl definer (havent tried this as yet),
