Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Beeswax, Soy Lecithin, Fragrance & Essential Oils

My Thoughts:
I got these two Pooka Shea Body Butter as engagement gifts from my friend Krista and boy do I love them. First, I must say that the smell is to die for. The guava mango and the pomegranate body butter smell so good; you would be tempted to take a bite. Lol! I am a sucker for all things natural and loved that the ingredients used in these body butters are natural. These butters only differ in fragrance so there isnt any difference in performance.

I love love love these Pooka Shea Body Butters. Shea butter based products work for me because I have dry eczema skin so I was over the moon happy when I got these. These Pooka body butters left my skin feeling very moisturized. It did not just sit on top of my skin like most Shea butter products do, but instead it penetrated my skin and retained moisture very well. Retaining moistiure is a everyday problem for eczema sufferers so I was pleasantly surprised that I did not need to re-moisturize my skin. The ingredients are natural and safe for sensitive skin.

Tip: For best results apply to skin when you just hopped out the shower while skin is still damp. You'll love it.

Pros:
  • Does what it says: moisturizes and conditions the skin very well
  • Retains moisture
  • Smell really really good

Cons: NONE!

Have you tried anything from Pooka Pure And Simple?

Words of Encouragement

Hey Loves!

A few days ago I was very down on myself and needed some encouragement. My boyfriend sent me the following words to uplift my spirits and it did.  I feel like it will help some one too so please read below.

Me: God can I ask you a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise u won't get mad

God: I promise
Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late,
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait,
God:Huummmm...
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.....
God: All right
Me: And to top it all off, when I got home ~I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massage & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let you…

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

Hi Loves,

I always get asked about how do I interlock my locs and the rotation I used - whether its 2-point or 4-point rotation. Some people also use the term 2-way or 4-way rotation.

In the video below, I illustrate on my own locs, the difference between the two methods. you can then compare for yourself, if there is a difference between the two by looking at my locs.

Do you interlock your locs? Share below which rotation do you use?
