As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner Product Review

As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner Product Review

Product Promises:
Gently cleanses hair and scalp
Removes product residue
Preserve moisture

Price: $8 for 16oz

Where to buy: Target Stores or Sally Beauty Store

My Thoughts:
So I bought this because lots of people was talking about it and being the Product Junkie that I am I forked over the cash. I have used most of the jar so far and I like it. It leaves my hair soft and my hair was clean. I like how it makes my hair feel after I rinse. I suggest leaving it in for a few minutes while you shave or whatever else you do in the shower to get a full conditioning.

I noticed that if I used lots of product that week then this CoWash is not enough to clean my hair and scalp in one wash. I have to repeat the process. I believe it removes some product build up but not a full week's worth of gels and moisturizers and oils. If your a wash and go person or if you Cowash your hair few times a week then this is for. If you don't use a lot of products it's for you too.

Overall it's a good product. It does what it promises.

Pros:
  • Cleans and leave hair moisturized.
  • Slip is simply wonderful. Detangling was very very easy. That's always a huge plus.

Cons:

  • The jar is a little hard to work with in the shower. It would be nice if it was in an actual bottle instead of a jar.
  • Doesn't remove lots of product buildup in one wash.

Have you tried any products from the As I Am product line?

Words of Encouragement

Hey Loves!

A few days ago I was very down on myself and needed some encouragement. My boyfriend sent me the following words to uplift my spirits and it did.  I feel like it will help some one too so please read below.

Me: God can I ask you a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise u won't get mad

God: I promise
Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late,
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait,
God:Huummmm...
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.....
God: All right
Me: And to top it all off, when I got home ~I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massage & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let you…

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

Hi Loves,

I always get asked about how do I interlock my locs and the rotation I used - whether its 2-point or 4-point rotation. Some people also use the term 2-way or 4-way rotation.

In the video below, I illustrate on my own locs, the difference between the two methods. you can then compare for yourself, if there is a difference between the two by looking at my locs.

Do you interlock your locs? Share below which rotation do you use?
