My Thoughts:
After shampooing my hair with the Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils Oh So Clean! Moisturizing & Softening Shampoo, I followed up with this Control Anti-Poof Moisturizing & Softening Conditioner. The slip from this conditioner was great so finger detangling was easy. The smell is like sweet candy and it is not an over powering smell. I applied it all over my head and wore a plastic cap for 15 minutes. My hair felt really soft when I washed it out - I just kept touching. Lol! The container is 15oz and only cost $9.99 and the smaller vanity sizes can be found at the Family Dollar stores for $5. There is nothing not like about this conditioner, to be honest. it does the job it said it will. I was left with very well-conditioned hair. Love! love! love!

Pro:
  • Slip is great (I look for this in a conditioner)
  • Conditions the hair very well leaving you with soft manageable hair.

Con: None

DIY Moisturizing Leave-in Spray for Natural HairGoing down the natural hair aisle at the beauty supply store can sometimes give us a real headache when we see the prices. Words of Encouragement

Hey Loves!

A few days ago I was very down on myself and needed some encouragement. My boyfriend sent me the following words to uplift my spirits and it did.  I feel like it will help some one too so please read below.

Me: God can I ask you a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise u won't get mad

God: I promise
Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late,
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait,
God:Huummmm...
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.....
God: All right
Me: And to top it all off, when I got home ~I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massage & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let you…

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

Hi Loves,

I always get asked about how do I interlock my locs and the rotation I used - whether its 2-point or 4-point rotation. Some people also use the term 2-way or 4-way rotation.

In the video below, I illustrate on my own locs, the difference between the two methods. you can then compare for yourself, if there is a difference between the two by looking at my locs.

Do you interlock your locs? Share below which rotation do you use?
