My Thoughts:
I used this Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils Curl La La Defining Curl Custard to do my braid outs and 3 strand twist outs and I love it. I am not a fan of custards and gels so I was not excited about trying a custard. However that quickly changed. This does not feel like a custard. There was no tacky/sticky feel that is unique to custards. It is a very light consistency and offer a moisturizing light hold. I give this an A grade to be honest because of how moisturizing and flake free it is. I hate a product that leave its residue behind.

This Aunt Jackies Curls Coils Curl La La Defining Curl Custard is a very light hold so if you are looking for hard/stiff hold this will not help you. However if you want light hold and shiny moisturized hair then this is the custard for you.

With that being said, I would definitely purchase replace this product when its finished.

Pro
  • Moisturizing Light hold
  • Flake-Free

Con:
  • I loved it. If you like the hard hold that you normally get from a gel or custard then this is not for you.

Words of Encouragement

Hey Loves!

A few days ago I was very down on myself and needed some encouragement. My boyfriend sent me the following words to uplift my spirits and it did.  I feel like it will help some one too so please read below.

Me: God can I ask you a question?
God: Sure
Me: Promise u won't get mad

God: I promise
Me: Why did u let so much stuff happen to me today?
God: What do u mean?
Me: Well, I woke up late,
God: Yes
Me: My car took forever to start,
God: Okay
Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait,
God:Huummmm...
Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call.....
God: All right
Me: And to top it all off, when I got home ~I just wanted to soak my feet in my new foot massage & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did you do that?

God: Let me see, the Death Angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one of the other angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that.
Me (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let you…

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

INTERLOCKING ROTATION | 2 Point vs 4 Point Rotation On Locs

Hi Loves,

I always get asked about how do I interlock my locs and the rotation I used - whether its 2-point or 4-point rotation. Some people also use the term 2-way or 4-way rotation.

In the video below, I illustrate on my own locs, the difference between the two methods. you can then compare for yourself, if there is a difference between the two by looking at my locs.

Do you interlock your locs? Share below which rotation do you use?
